Monroy and Sunny Rios of Wheatland volunteered to donate recyclables.
While Wheatland 4-H was bagging up all the recyclables to take them to the dump Kianna Walton, Pandora Edwards, Sonya Glover, and Kim Edwards learned a sad story.
The story was about a young man named Monroy Rios Jr, who was a funny, caring, and a happy 17-year-old who wanted to be a poet continue reading an actor when he grew up.
His mother and father were devastated and had no answers.
Almost the whole town came to his funeral.

We would like to thank all the people who have graciously donated their cans and plastic.
Monroy Rios has also volunteered his time to create Yuba Sutter 4-H window decal emblems that will be for sale through Yuba Sutter 4-H to help raise money for Wheatland 4-H.
The recyclables are still needed for the Washington Conference that Pandora Edwards, Isabelle Bergeron, and Kiana Walton are attending in July!
