I have a BRKT Bravo necker in 3v and that is a fantastic neck knife IMO.
Been article source in that Scrapivore also and don't think you could go wrong with any of the knives you have listed.
Neck knife to https://ipodxs.com/blackjack/blackjack-online-free-multi-hand.html around your neck or neck knife for belt carry?
If it's around the neck, my preference is for light weight.
Izula, BK 14 or 11, or a scrapivore.
The Izula II handle is my favorite.
If you want stainless, the Buck Paklite is a nice little knife, as is the Tops Shango.
A real sleeper is the Benchmark Backpacker, in fact now that I'm thinking about it I think I'll order a couple more to stash.
Mission I have a Mission MPU-S Neck Knife which I just love.
About 80 bucks or so.
I would like to see a kydex sheath instead of ballistic nylon though.
The Becker Necker is very popular and the ESEE is very good as well.
SOmetimes I like to have something a bit different I have a BRKT Bravo necker in 3v and that is a fantastic neck knife IMO.
Been interested comps cosmopolitan blackjack that Scrapivore also and don't think you could go wrong with any of the knives you have listed.
Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2 I agree!
I just was looking at these and am really tempted to get one and put on a canvas Micarta handle.
I just was looking at these and am really tempted to get one and put on a canvas Micarta handle.
The Izula II has a longer handle if you have bigger hand or prefer the longer handle.
Heck of a tough blade.
I don't use it as a keck knife.
Here I thought it was going to be high school thread.
Anyways the izula is fine.
I like the 2 better.
Longer blade just as light.
Looking for a scrapivore or the brkt bravo?
The bravo necker can be found at knives ship free and the only scrapivores I have seen were in ebay every now and again.
There's plenty of options out there, the bk14 has been more than enough for me, I've owned it for about three years I believe.
I carry it attached to my maxpedition proteus and it goes with me every day.
Here I thought it was going to dollar blackjack in high school thread.
Anyways the izula is fine.
I like the 2 better.
Longer blade just as light.
FWIW, the handle of the Izula II is exactly half an inch longer than the Izula, giving the knives a total length of 6.
Both have a blade length of 2.
The Izula II has a weight of 3.
The extra weight is negligible imo.
I am, so happy day.
Looking for a scrapivore or the brkt bravo?

Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2 no I meant the Bark River Necker.
I have the Becker Bk-14, Izula, Wolf Creek Necker.
Fallkniven says the lock is released by pushing down with your thumb on the spine jimping to move the lock away from the guard and it takes a Kg of force to loosen it.
I'll be looking harder at it to see if there's any issues with the sheath.
The Fallkniven Kolt is a sweet knife as I have one but the sheath sucks and would be pocket carry only.
I would not trust that sheath around my neck.
Just a FYI Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2 that Tops Mini Scandi is a neat looking little knife too.
I didn't think I would because the handle looks so small.
To put it in perspective, I wear XXL gloves.
Once you use it, you realize it is perfect, I mean perfect for very fine work.
It works great in my hands.
Like I said, it has become my blackjack 155 handle scales favorite.
And that modified scandi grind really works.
I love " neck" knives.
Not always around the neck but a 3"+- blade.
Right now I have my eye on a custom blade.
Honestly my BK11 has never left me needing more.
They are still available from scrapyardknives.
I've never seen micarta or any other scales available for the scrapivores.
Even a paracord wrap would be tough.
You would need to modify or replace the kydex sheath, since it covers well past the blade region.
I keep a "safety orange" Scrapivore in a survival kit.
They are pretty tough little knives.
They are SR101 steel, tempered to 62-64 HRc.
The pry bar end may be handy but makes an underhand "ice pick" grip uncomfortable and potentially a bad idea.
If that's your speed, look at an Izula.
That said, I like mine just fine.
I have no plans to wrap the handle.
The knife and matching sheath make for a very slim package, and the skeleton tang is plenty of grip for a small knife.
A few other options: CRKT has several good options from tiny to tactical.
I think these are designed by Tom Krein.
I wouldn't hold this one underhand either, because the grip end is a bottle opener Ritter Mk.
The smallest option I'm aware of.
These are handled knives with secure grips.
For other "less expensive" options, take a look at Cold Steel or Buck, to name a few.
For those willing to spend a few bucks.
Like, 150 of them.
They are coated S35V and ship with a kydex sheath.
I admit it, I lust after one of these.
Regards, Aaron The Fallkniven Kolt is a sweet knife as I have one but the sheath sucks and would be pocket carry only.
I would not trust that sheath around my neck.
Just a FYI Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2 absotively!
I was thinking of incasing the whole sheath in leather almost like a scandi knife sheath and run some leather or cordage throught the hole in the bottom of the sheath and sew that into the sheath bottom somehow to secure it when pulling the knife out.
Your idea might work but if you could do a sheath with the handle up would be the best way for utilizing the original sheath.
You could do a flat back piece of leather with a couple of leather straps around the original sheath and like I said before maybe sew the bottom lanyard hole to the back leather and put some grommets in that for your neck lanyard.
Kydex or a custom leather sheath would be the best option though.
Many great suggestions so far.
For my personal preferences, another vote for the 3V BRKT Necker 2, I absolutely love mine.
I had to wait quite awhile for one to show up with the lava flow scales I wanted on blackjack 155 handle scales but it was well world the the wait and I pulled the trigger immediately when it showed up.
I definitley haven't regret it at all, it's a great little knife.
Although I don't neck-carry it, I've been pretty happy with my scaled Izula for several years.
It has become my edc and also my go-to outdoors knife.
I pocket-carry it with a multitool in an Adirondack sheath.
I also have a CRKT Folts Minimalist in my PSK, which would not be too irritating to neck-carry.
Hogue makes very nice neck knives.
Very nice sheath for neck carry and what not.
I also love my izula II and I I have the CRKT RSK MK6.
The sheath is nice, but I've only owned the knife for a week so far.
I bought it to put on my paddling vest for canoeing so stainless was important.
It wasn't exactly what I consider 'sharp' when it arrived but the edge was reasonably well ground and a few minutes on a fine stone fixed it.
I had to re-wrap the handle because the way it was originally done left a big system blackjack paroli in the wrap where ends of the cord sat which happened to be right where my thumb wanted to be.
I'm ordering a BK24 as well, but I don't have that one yet to compare.
I think the extra edge length will be a huge improvement for day-to-day use and D2 will certainly be a big win over 8Cr13MoV steel.
However the RSK MK6 works well for what I bought it for- a utility knife for use in the boat.
I'd probably have bought an Izula in stainless if they were available instead of the RSK MK6, although then I'd be more concerned about dropping it in the water since it would cost close to twice as much as the RSK6.
There are lots of great custom knife makers out there as well.
As far as retention of a neck knife in the sheath.
You could put a lanyard through the handle with a knot at check this out end and then tuck the knot into a ranger band on the sheath.
I've also seen loops attached to the back of the sheath that push through a lanyard hole and then loop over the top like a cow hitch.
Rick Marchand makes neck knives with a hole in the handle that a stud from the back of the sheath pushes into to secure it.
Kydex works well also.
For fishing, and around the house, I love the CRKT Bear Claw -- I have the serrated calculator blackjack strategy chart and it rips through anything.
I find I'm using it 5 or 6 times a day.
Thick handle, hole for your finger magnificent retention, particularly if you're cold and wet.
Nice sharp tip too, for peeling oranges, removing birchbark, etc.
You mentioning wanting stainless steel jolted my memory.
Another blade that might blackjack gagner beaucoup au you is the Cold Steel Mini Pendleton Hunter, and it is in the under 50 price range.
I had one for a while but lost it shortly after purchasing the WCF Necker and never bothered to replace it, but plan on doing so one of these days.
I think I used it and set it down instead of putting it back into the sheath.
Looking at knifecenter it says it had blackjack 155 handle scales 3" blade but my memory says it fell a little short of 3" I've got a BK11 that I've had for several years.
Wrapped it with some 550cordage and haven't ever had any issues.
Looking for neck knife suggestions Https://ipodxs.com/blackjack/blackjack-window-tinting-walton-ky.html to get some suggestions for a neck knife to of couse wear around my neck and partner with my belt knife.
Already have an Blackjack 155 handle scales II so looking for something else.
Lightweight but still pretty tough would be optimal.
Needs to have a sheath that hangs from the neck with the handle down that wontceasily come out of the sheath.
Just some things i could think of.
Suggestions are most appreciated.
My 1 suggestion is a River Bottom Sukr blade.
Rook makes amazing knives and this blade fits the bill perfectly.
My suggestion is to try it for a few hours, just a piece of paracord with a big nut on it, and realize how much of a pain it truly is in this heat and humidity.
If you still decide you want it, a Candiru in a kydex 'snap' sheath will hold pretty well upside down, though I personally wouldn't carry anything that way.
Do you have you carried a blade that way?
I've tried a couple of times, got my MP Otzi set up that way, have a couple of AS Walkers.
I just can't get used to them there.

How is the coating?
I read that its like baked on, but I got one from a guy used that was flaking off and kinda aweful.
It seems like any other powdercoat, but then again I haven't had it for that long.
I emailed bark river and they said it was covered under their lifetime warranty.
Didn't know about their warranty, I'll have to email them some pics and see what they say.
I'm just hoping I didn't get a fake but everything except for the coating seems exactly the same.
Thanks for the info, great knife hope you love it!
Yea, definitely call bark river.
If they did not cover this under their lifetime warranty I would have picked up an izula.
So, I really like mine and purchased the handle scales to go with it, but the sheath's retention is so terrible there's no way to use this as an actual neck knife.
How's your sheath OP?
I should definitely add that the quality control is not as great on this product.
My first sheath was terrible and the knife came drenched in oil and with scratches on the blade.
Ordered from knife country USA and they promptly sent a replacement excellent customer service.
New sheath has excellent retention and blade was spotless.
The sheath is kind of weird, you have to disengage it by pushing the bottom instead of the top like most sheaths.
If it came with an izula type sheath and reliable qc, I would handily recommend blackjack 155 handle scales as a better option considering 154 cm and convex grind, but as it stands it's just another option.
I have one and the sheath is fine, maybe a little wobbly.
The good news for you is it's kydex and is molded with heat.
house edge craps odds you need to do is hold a lighter a few blackjack 155 handle scales underneath the sheath right next to the opening behind the blade.
Then press it in with anything small and metal, the had of a nail works fine.
visit web page it while it cools.
Should tighten up the retention quite a bit, I've done this before with my Boker gnome.
Let me know if I didn't explain well enough.
