I play micro stakes on stars and started off with no HUD and was a consistently winning player 2NL at the time.
I then downloaded Free Poker DataBase free HUD software and found I played worse.
Took a https://ipodxs.com/best/best-poker-game-for-android-phones.html off that, and went back to no HUD.
My bankroll allowed me to progress from 2NL to 5NL then 10NL, and after staying break even for a while I thought this was where the players were tough enough that a HUD is required to succeed.
How wrong I was.
Downloaded Holdem Manager 2 Trial.
Bank roll went from 400, to 450, down to 265 bit of running bad if I'm honest but we all get the same luck.
I have no doubt it's a great tool but I didn't know how to apply it in game, it made me over think situations and play worse.
I made pokerstars hud reddit of my money from isolating the short stacks at the tables.
These are the guys that don't click auto rebuy because they are fish.
Don't bluff them, value town them.
If you can't keep track of players styles, give a HUD a go.
In poker we should always be looking to make the best decision.
That is, looking to do what will maximize our profits.
Just because you don't necessarily "need" to do something doesn't mean it might not still be best to do it.
As you may find that by doing it or pokerstars hud reddit ityou will gain a larger edge in the game.
So if you acknowledge that a HUD is a great tool, and can no doubt be used to benefit your game, then it seems like the best step would be learning how to use a HUD effectively.
Doing so would likely yield better results than continuing to play without a HUD.
Much the same as learning when and who to bluff in a microstakes game, and doing so effectively, will yield better results than playing only ABC poker.
And also if you don't do it, you'll never learn to do it.
And microstakes is kind of a good place to learn.
I do 3bet in the blinds and make notes on the pokerstars softwares.
Plus because I see the same players over and over again I know their playing styles exactly.
There's one LAG grinder who leaves every table I'm on when I join him.
A bunch of tight nits who are labelled yellow.
My system is more than ABC poker I just found the HUD didn't help me.
I'll try it again when I feel like my game needs improving.
What games do you play?
Plus because I see the same players over and over again I know their playing styles exactly.
I have a HUD with plenty of hands on numerous players, and still don't know exactly what they are doing at all times.
It seems that without a HUD you would just be estimating on a lot of things that with a HUD you could be more sure on.
Do you know how often these https://ipodxs.com/best/poker-machine-bases-australia.html are 3betting from the blinds?
Are they stealing from the BTN 25% of the time?
How often are they folding to 3bets?
It seems like without a HUD, you are left taking guesses on those numbers, or summing them up with phrases like "He steals often", "he folds to 3bets often".
When you could be getting detailed information pokerstars hud reddit those tendencies.
My system is more than ABC poker I just found the HUD didn't help me.
It didn't help you because you admitted you didn't know how to use it effectively.
If you would spend time setting up a nice HUD, and learning how to use it correctly, then I'd think it could potentially help you.
I'll try it again when I feel like my game needs improving.
Your game doesn't need improving?
Because unless you are playing flawless poker, your game should need improving.
You should be looking to increase your edge at all times.
What games do you play?
Typically around 7-11 tables mixing those stakes.
I'm in the US also.
For example there is one player called Torre Matona.
I have his number.
He steals every single hand from the CO and BTN when he raises 25c-30c.
When he has a legitimate hand he opens for 35c.
So whenever he does the small open I always 3bet him.
Yesterday was the first time he 4bet me cold.
That's one thing a HUD doesn't tell you, bet sizing tells unless you really dig that information up.
I feel like my grasp more info good for now.
Of course my game needs improving but for now I'm happy with where I'm at on reacting just click for source specific players.
Once my exams are finished I'm having a 2 week grinding session so when I'll be playing all day I'll learn to use the HUD effectively.
It'll start in 2 weeks time and I'll most likely be making posts on here so you'll be able to see if I've changed my mind about the HUD then.
Just because you are using a HUD those reads don't have to go away.
And you don't have to stop making those kind of reads in the future.
You just have additional information to supplement with those reads.
Of course my game needs improving but for now I'm happy with where I'm at on reacting to specific players.
And I don't see how having a HUD should make you react any worse to those specific players.
But it could certainly help you react better against others that you don't have such solid reads on.
Or against those players in spots you don't have good reads on.
I look at it this way.
Poker is a game of information.
You are using the information you have to put a player on a range, and understand how he will play that range, then making a decision accordingly.
HUDs provide additional information with which to help you achieve that goal, and do so more effectively.
Why not take advantage of the additional information a HUD can provide?
Like I said, when I have time I'll learn to use it effectively and I'll make a follow up post.
As for beginners, this post was here for them so they know they don't need a HUD when they start out to be winnings players.
You can get by playing 2 - 4 tables without a HUD but if you want to play more tables or you want to find ways to exploit players more completely then you pokerstars hud reddit learn to use a HUD.
Let's say the average big blind is 5c.
Maybe not 'crushing' but still a consistent winner.
If u just move up to even 20NL still micros u can make in 20k hands what u have made best casino pc game 200k hands if you really did crush.
The next level on stars is 16NL.
I've just got enough in my account to play the number of tables I want to at those stakes.
I'll see where that takes me.
What are some of the downsides to Free Poker Database?
I can't imagine a free HUD offering similar enhancements.
Nowhere near as clean as HM2 or PT4 done the source of both of them but gives all the stats you need.
Hard to set up though.
A solid winning strategy is simply to wait for monsters.
With TPTK, sets, overpairs etc, my rule of thumb is click to see more bet 80% of pot on flop.
Any more than that and they probably have in and you should fold.
Pair of aces is normally the best hand, kickers are important.
Value bet Pokerstars hud reddit and AK for 3 streets.
AJ for 2 streets then check call.
AT is where you should consider folding if a good, pokerstars hud reddit, tight player is check calling you down and they bet big on the river.
For playing draws, a good strategy is to bet half pot.
It gives you a good-ish price, if you get raised big they probably have a set where you can fold, and single pair hands will more likely call than raise because the general playing type is passive.
Players will call with air on the flop and fold to the turn bet sometimes, giving you money that way which is nice.
This is where you need to be good at hand reading.
If you think he has a pair he's never folding learn to give up.
Don't chase gut shots.
It'll save you a lot of money.
Unless you have back door flush and it's a 5 way pot with big stacks behind, then maybe.
When I started playing I could only afford to play 4 tables at a time.
Nowadays I pokerstars hud reddit 16+.
Start small, learn player tendencies at these stakes, then add on tables when you fall into a mechanical rhythm of play.

I've recently wanted to start playing on Atlantic caesars city at slots best but before I do I have a few questions about HUD options pokerstars hud reddit whats allowed.
I haven't played online poker in about 2-3 years and I want to get back into the swing of things.
When I used to play, HUDs were allowed on Pokerstars and there weren't many restrictions.
After doing some research it seems like there are some new restrictions to what statistics are allowed, what's not, pokerstars hud reddit />I've been out of the game for awhile so any help would be great.
I just needed assurance that they are still pokerstars hud reddit and I wouldn't be breaking any rules!
I was so excited to build my HUD with population tendencies, and then found out you can only use 3 colors.
So make it below average, average, and above average?
How is it even possible that they been some "badge things"?
I wrote all of my notecaddy note definitions myself, how could they possibly ban them?
It's definitions with badges.
Definitions are easily created from scratch so I don't understand how they could block it.
And badges are just icons, I could pokerstars hud reddit any icon for any definition.
So it's baked into notecaddy's software?
So notecaddy allows you to use "them" for hand reviews but not in live huds?
Yes, notecaddy has badges disabled for liveplay on pokerstars and full tilt.
If they did allow them then Pokerstars would ban notecaddy altogether in the same way that pokerstove and piosolver are banned during live play.
It's what is pokerstars hud reddit to show statistical numbers, for example.
Wait, is the color the only reason I cannot use HM2?
I stopped using it as I was given a pop-up warning to cut-off my account for my "third-party application".
Fighting against color seems like a small issue to the stats HM2 provides.
I've gotten it before when i forgot to close stove and im pretty sure it specifically said pokerstove Mine said I was used a unacceptable third party app, but this was days after the change was made.
I'm installing it on my pokerstars hud reddit computer to see if it occurs again.

Outside of jivaro premium are there any you guys would recommend?
It isn't free though, however it is a one time fee.
Unless you are 30 tabling you should be able to calculate pot odds by yourself.
Even then i mean come on.
I know its not that hard but when there are some rly odd numbers that ppl bet and with me being kinda new.
Id rather spend my time thinking about the right moves then have my head calculating the pot odds then rushing or feeling time pressure.
If its just there its not sonething i need to focus on getting right but think more overall about the situation.
Why don't you just open up a calculator on your pokerstars hud reddit when you play?
Takes two seconds to divide the numbers to get your pot odds if read article feeling the pressure, also it gets you used to calculating it manually instead of relying on a hud to do it for you.
Are you playing on PC or Mac?
I used to have iHoldem Indicator for Mac - not sure if they make it for PC yet as I stopped using it when I decided to learn to do pokerstars hud reddit myself!
Sorry, looked in to it and; i was think, best vegas casinos to visit good />Apparently HEM2 disables it because they are not allowed pokerstars hud reddit have a pokerstars hud reddit HUD and their software worked that way.
